Press Start: Arkade Goes Live
Today, we're opening Arkade to the world, the first step in Bitcoin's evolution from static money to a global, open financial platform.

Two years ago, our team set out to implement the Ark protocol, a new and clever design for offchain payments and transaction batching. The goal was simple: introduce an alternative approach for cheap and instant Bitcoin transactions and address Lightning Network's shortcomings.
As our journey progressed, we hit on something unexpected. Ark's technology could do much more than simply batch payments, it was key to making Bitcoin programmable without any change to the base layer.
What started as a payment protocol became something bigger: the foundation for Bitcoin as programmable money. Arkade was born.
Today, we're ready to open Arkade to the world, the first step in Bitcoin's evolution from static money to a global, open financial platform.
Ready Player One
Arkade launches with everything developers need to start building today:
SDKs in TypeScript, Golang, and Rust. Build wallets, payment apps, or financial services with seamless integration in your existing stack.
Fulmine: A Bitcoin wallet daemon for swap providers and payment hubs. Optimize Lightning Network channel liquidity while minimizing on-chain fees through native Arkade integration.
Arkade Wallet: Our reference implementation showing what's possible. Self-custodial, instant transactions, Lightning integration. Fork it, learn from it, or use it as-is. Remember, this is still all beta software. Try it today.
BTCPayServer Plugin: Accept instant Bitcoin payments with lower fees. Arkade integration eliminates confirmation delays while maintaining self-custody. Batch settlement reduces onchain costs.
All open-source.
We've worked closely with partners like Breez, LayerZ Wallet, BTCPayServer, Boltz, BullBitcoin, and Lendasat to ensure these tools actually deliver. The ecosystem is nascent, but the foundation is strong. Let's see what you build.
What To Expect
Arkade's public beta is an invitation to builders interested in the edge of Bitcoin innovation. We've spent the last year ensuring the core system is solid, secure, and capable of supporting real applications.
With that said, this remains early-stage infrastructure.
Some features will evolve significantly based on what you build and where you push the boundaries. We've implemented guardrails to maintain system integrity during this growth phase. Arkade is not ready to handle your life savings.
While we've thoroughly tested the fundamentals, real-world usage from developers with diverse needs and perspectives will help us refine the protocol further.
Over the coming months, we'll expand Arkade's capabilities with enhanced scripting environments, additional security mechanisms, and expanded integrations.
Today’s announcement of Arkade Assets brings us one step closer to a complete financial stack built entirely on Bitcoin.
Start Building
Over the last decade, financial innovation has migrated to other chains. Lending protocols, automated market makers, trading and prediction markets: all built elsewhere because Bitcoin lacked the infrastructure to support them.
This changes today.
Arkade is live, and with it begins the next chapter of Bitcoin development. Whether you're building wallets, payment infrastructure, or entirely new financial primitives, the tools are ready and will only get better from here.
Explore the full technical documentation at docs.arkadeos.com, dive into our open-source SDKs, or join our developer community to connect with other builders pioneering Bitcoin-native applications.
The foundation is set. The rails are laid. It's your turn to show the world what programmable Bitcoin can do. We’re excited to see what you come up with.
Time to level up!
